WESTPORT, Conn. — As temperatures fall, the Westport Fire Department is running a winter coat drive.

The department is gathering the clothing and working with the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to provide the coats to people in need.

“Together we can make a difference, help change lives and share hope,” said Rob Lenois, Westport firefighter and president of the Westport Uniformed Firefighters Charitable Foundation.
