A burning mountain fire in the Los Padres National Forest in Monterey County expanded to 2,000 acres on Friday. A fire called Willow Fire began on Thursday night, west of Arroyo Seco Campground and south of the Tasahara Zen Center. An estimated 300 people responded to the fire. Evacuation Order WF-1 Los Padres National Forest China Camp, northwest of Tasahara Road, includes a tributary forest route and Tasaharazen Center WF-3a: All of Arroyo Seco Road, west of Woodtic Canyon Area (including Arroyo Seco Campground, Rocky Creek Road), Camp Cawatre.Zone WF-6: Marble Peak west of Zigzag Creek, including the Black Cone section.
