Brock Eagles To Make 6th Appearance In State Baseball Tournament


The UIL High School State Baseball Tournament takes place this week in Round Rock. The Brock High School Baseball team is preparing to make their sixth appearance in the State Tournament. The Eagles play Friday morning in the Class 3A state semifinals against Corpus Christi London. Brock has reason to be confident as they head to State. The Eagles have won 27 of their last 29 games and are looking for the second baseball state title in school history.

High school state tournament is this week, and the brocke Eagles play Friday morning in the class three state semifinals in Round Rock. They have won 27 of their last 29 games, looking for their second baseball state title.

TYLER RIDDLE: Honest, I think the pressure’s off now, and now, we get to go home. We got there. Now, it’s time to go play as hard as you can and see what happens.

CARSON LIGHTFOOT: We did everything we could this year. We prepared all we could, so I think we have a good shot.

HART HERING: Yeah, our tradition and history of winning here it’s been awesome.

JAXON GLEATON: We’re excited. We’re not, I mean, we’re just ready for it.

Jaxon, you don’t sound excited.

JAXON GLEATON: We’re ready. We’re excited for it.

They may not sound excited, but they are excited, Ken, and who wouldn’t be? They’re headed to state.
